The September Cellar Bundle includes the following:

1 x 2022 Nervi Conterno Nebbiolo Rose
This wine was made solely because the winemakers’ wife did not enjoy red wine and they only had red grapes to play with. Nevertheless, an excellent product from the infamous estate of Giacomo Conterno in Piemonte. Vibrant and refreshing with raspberry, lemon oil and white peaches.

1 x 2022 La Bastide Blanche Bandol Rose
The epitome of full-bodied and serious Rose. Bandol is a small region within Provence, famous for their concentrated and structured Rose. La Bastide Blanche is no exception with complex aroms of grapefruit, white pepper and dried apricot. A healthy dose of Mourvedre gives this wine additional structure and persitence on the palate.

1 x 2023 Chateau d’Esclans Whispering Angel Rose
Mostly Grenchae based, this is a typical, albeit premium, Provence Rose. Raspberry and blood orange aromas mingle with crushed seashells and dried thyme. The palate is generous with a distinct salinity on the mid palate. Delicious by itself or with poached seafood.

1 x 2024 Dominique Portet La Fontaine Rose
Juicy and crisp, with Cabernet Sauvignon base. Expect aromas of strawberries and cream with herbaceous notes of blackcurrant bush. The palate is juicy with elevated acidity and bitter orange rind on the finish. An excellent aperitif or an accompaniment with steak tartare and grilled shellfish alike.

1 x 2023 The Wanderer Shiraz Rose
A true expression of Shiraz, but in Rose form! Savoury and a little meaty, this wine offers aromas of dill pickle, bacon fat and campfire embers. Wild strawberry, burnt orange and cranberry balance the savoury notes, giving an overall moreish and delicious product. Fantastic with charcuterie or anchovy dishes.

1 x 2023 Vinea Marson Rosato
Sourced from premium vineyards in Heathcote, this is a barrel fermented Sangiovese based Rose. The darker colour is derived from bleeding a little Nebbiolo into the wine, completing the Australian-Italian experiment. As a result, this wine has great structure and length with fresh red berried fruits and dried savoury herb notes. Perfect with wood fired pizza or lighter pasta dishes.
