Pierre Gimmonet et Fils is a premium Champagne grower and producer in the Cote de Blancs Premier Cru village of Cuis. The Gimmonet family have been growing fruit in Cuis since 1750 and Pierre Gimmonet started the label in the 1930’s. As they only produce blanc de blancs Champagne, they found it difficult to establish a solid customer base at first. Through hard work, they made their mark as a premium producer. Pierre’s two sons are currently running the business and they continue their reputation as a highly regarded producer.
The NV Blanc de Blancs is a lively and aerial Champagne with persistent, fine mousse. Aromas of lemon peel and dried flowers make this Champagne delicate yet refreshing. The palate opens with flavours of white flowers, green apple, apple skin and hints of almonds. This Champagne has a persistent and dry finish and is to be thoroughly enjoyed.
Great with oysters or enjoy as aperitif.
