This Estate is one of the more accomplished small, family run wineries in Heathcote. Initially, they started out with two small vineyards, Alan’s Cabernet Vineyard and the Original Vineyard. Today they have eight different plots in Heathcote, producing wines intended to give pleasure and enjoyment to the drinker. Established in 1974, Wild Duck Creek Estate has the focus of producing bold and full bodied wines of exceptional quality.

The Wild Duck Creek Yellow Hammer Hill Shiraz Malbec is a wine made purely with enjoyment in mind. It is an every day wine that you can enjoy with good food shared with friends and family. Being a blend of mainly Shiraz with a splash of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, this is a plush and bold wine. Dark berries and chocolate aromas dominate with fresh hints of raspberry and also red apple skin. Spice and blackcurrant notes come though on the palate along with well integrated tannins. With a chocolatey finish and fleshy length, this wine is excellent value.
