Named after two early explorers of Victoria (George Bass and Arthur Phillip) Bass Phillip is one of Gippsland’s most premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers. Their vineyards in South Gippsland have been managed biodynamically for nearly two decades, further enhancing the signature of each vintage and soil type. This region also offers deep mineral rich soils, natural humidity and cool temperatures. The resulting wines exhibit length, complexity of flavours and natural minerality.
Bass Phillip Crown Prince is an easy drinking Pinot Noir with flavours of fresh red plum and Kirsch paired with crisp and balanced acidity. The length is excellent with a spice-driven palate of cinnamon and clove. A fresh and balanced wine with floral and sappy aromas, elongated and soft tannins.
Pairs well with most main courses, but it is an excellent drop to enjoy in its own right.
