The Champagne house of Moet et Chandon is over 250 years old and remains one of the most prestigious producers of Champagne to this day. Established in 1743 by Claude Moet, the house owns more than 1100 hectares of vines. This is the largest vineyard area in Champagne with 50% holding Grand Cru classification and 25% classified Premier Cru.
With fine and lively beads and vivacious acidity, the 2012 Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Brut has a refreshing and long length. Hints of pastry, brioche, almonds and vanilla marry with aromas of ripe pear and white peach. The palate is full with stone fruits, nectarine and citrus notes, enhanced by hints of white pepper. Overall, it is juicy, soft and complex with great persistence.
Enjoy with seared scallops and herb dressing.
